strating problme mk3

well as some of u know my buddy bought a mk3 supra turbo...

he blew a rad house and not it dosnt even idel right...

a littel background about the car

300 000 km
rebuilt at 140 000
stored for 1 year intill buddy bought it 2 week ago

it ran fine intill he blew the rad hose...


not the car starts and u can rev the engine but u cant give it too much gas or it will die....we checked the fuel pump, and the injectors are probly working cuz it idels....

no codes cam up .....or i dont think its any thing electrical...



my guesses are fuel filter or somthing is stuck in the fuel lines

second the nut to take off the fuel filter so so rusted that we cant get it off........and suggestions??????

Do a compression check. Look for vac. and intake leaks. Check the MAF. Check the plugs. Hell, go over the engine and do the basic engine checks.

plugs are good , and compression should be good...........it was anything electronical a code would of came up...

my buddy gave it to a dealer and a shop and they said the engine is fine...

Electrical issues won't always throw a code. You should go over the sensors with a multimeter.

but one shop said that it could be the afm

turbo or non? if turbo i'd check very well for boost leaks...my supras accordian pipe went bad and i had those same symptoms

/\......i highly dont think so.....but the dealer said the waste gate is stuck open........but it looked fine to me.....

but the boost gauge is the same...still at .5 bar.
