what do i need for a swap?

hey guys,

i've got a ma70 (1989) and i plan to do a 1jz-gtte swap. just a matter of question about the exhaust system on the 1jz fitting the ma70 chassis. is it going to fit? the jdm 1jz first came out on the ma70 right? just checking to be prepared to get what i need so nothing screws up like missing parts... thanks and sorry if this was already posted somewhere, i couldn't find anything related.

The cat back section from MA70 to JZA70 are identical. No issues.

I just took mine in and hade one made. I only paid $300 for a 3 inch custom job with a Flowmaster and a Catco universal high flow cat.

if it's 89 after january than you won't need to replace any chassis components, engine drop in no problem, you'll need a p/s high pressure line and throttle cable from a mk4 supra and if your car came originally with the 7mgte, you drive axle and rear diff will work no problem.
the 7mgte cluch also fits the 1jz flywheel.
