2jz Trany Question....

Hi, I have a 2jz automatic, does anyone know if a 7m turbo trany and flywheel fit the 2jz?

nope. maybe the 1jz r154 bellhousing would do it. not too sure. look under www.supraforums.com for more answers. d you have a turbo or no? if you don't i think the GE uses the w58.

The 1JZGTE flywheel is the same as the 7MGTE flywheel. The only difference between the two is the bolt pattern for the crank. The 1JZGTE and 7MGTE also share the same clutch, so I'm not sure the bell housing will work either. You will probably have problems with clutch compatibility.

funny thing is the 7m has to be machined to fit the 1jz. make the spaces bigger. not sure what theyre called cause i don't know flywheels and clutches. yeah i heard the clutch fits tho.
