1988 turbo .

looking for 550cc injectors for my build . Parts are limited where i live ... you guys have any recommendations ?

You could hit up one of our sponsor vendors as well. Raptorracing.com carries the RC injectors (my preference) and he used to sell venom, though may have dropped them completely due to reliability issues surrounding them.

Venom 550s (The direct drop ins) are just reman'd 440cc's or something to the like IIRC. The direct drop in is nice, but yeah, I've heard of reliability issues.

Slacker;

fire me off an email if you want a price on RC and clips: sales@raptorracing.com. Whatever you do; DO NOT buy Venom's...personally you'd have to pay me $250/injector to take them as you're just asking for a blown motor.

Venom would be able to avoid this bad rap if they just matched their injectors. It's not a reliability issue; the problem is that each of the 6 injectors push 550c at different flow rates. All 6 should be within a couple %; but the difference's in Venoms is as much as 22% on one of the tests I did.

RC sends a spec sheet with their injectors and stands behind their work...you can't go wrong with them.

my 680's work great. and they're the direct drop in ones. but then again, stock clutches cant hold over 350tq... hahaha.
