Now i wanna switch out the auto and put i a 5-spd, i've checked ebay and craigslist for the items i would need and i could get more from craigslist from up north at a cheap price from ppl parting out their supra's. I'm kinda stuck w/ either leaving the auto tranny and just getting the 7mgte w/ auto or w/ the 5-spd. I have no comparison w/ either so that's why i'm a little indecisive now. i've only ridden in a 5speed 7mgte so... and i like standard...so i don't know how to go about it. Maybe some suggestions from you seasoned supra guys can help out. I can just store it at my dad's shop and work on it little by little and would be better if the engine was outta the car. So know i'm on what to do.
check supraforums.com and supramania.com there are ALWAYS people parting out their 5 spds...and someone on here more knowledgeable can tell u whether the actual components are the same for NA or Turbo...i know the tranny is different but if everything else is the same u can mix and match and do it really innexpensively
clean car, its missing radiator, alternator, Gauge cluster, center console, door panels, and probably some other trim pieces.
its got a dent on driver fender. its in pretty decent shape otherwise, ignition is tore out so i haven't tried to start it.
its n\t, auto, trans, and 7mge. white with blue interior seats are nice, good tires. salvage title
ill try and post some pics soon. easy fix but i have no time and i just want it out of here
$250 and tow it home serious buyers only, need to make room
Targa or hardtop? That'd be my deciding factor. Right now it's got about everything going against it. To me it's a great rolling chassis for an upgrade, it just has a lot of upgrading needed.

Who came up with this 500px wide BS?
i'll check on the targa/hard top thing. But as for everthing else id'e rather just get my hands on it that way i have it and work on the chassis along w/ stripping the mouldings off if it has any, do body repairs and paint the inside of the engine bay and everything else. Plus there's a lot of part outs just north of me and can get 'em faster instead of across the state and again not that i'm in a hurry but want to resource and get all the stuff i can that has to be replaced. So it's almost a complete restore in some sense but not all the way to the bone though.
Well picked her up this weekend and it took a while to boot. Trailer hitch issues and what not. Anyway she's not much to look at right now but gimme some time and i'll have it lookin' pretty good.
As you can see the body is in pretty good shape but it's the interior that needs a whole hell of a lot attention. I cleaned it up yesterday, vaccumed it out and stripped the rear hatch rear all out. It didn't have time to get some engine shots but the it looks really clean, only missing the radiator , alt. and battery. I don't know how many miles are one the engine since there's no gauges so it won't really matter since i'll most likely swap that motor out and leave as an auto or do a 5-speed conversion but the entirior is what i'm working on first.
