You install a boost controller.
2) are you gonna have to install a boost controller?
Yes.
3) can you install a turbo without a boost controller?
A boost controller sets the level at which the wastegate will open. However, wastegates do have minimum levels. I,E, If the minimum level is 6.8psi, it'll open at 6.8psi. If there's not a boost controller it'll open at the wastegate's minimum level. All turbo's (except Diesel) have wastegates.
4) what about for a stock car that came turbo from the factory, are you gonna have to install a boost controller to increase boost as well?
