these are all signs of BHG, but nothing is deffinite.
that is the single biggest problem with the 7m motors as far as im concerned. i bought my 87 in 1988, logged 350,000kms on her, and still have the stock engine running almost perfect compression and power.
if you consider that any supra you buy will need a head gasket replacement, factor that into your price. look for the signs, and use them to get the price lowered. otherwise, they are great cars. i have a second one, the 1991, ready in the garage if and when this 1987 ever actually breaks down!
