Help!!!

I have a 1985 supra and I was at the gas station trying to get my gas tank open (b/c it has a lock so you have to pull a knob) and the thing broke, so now I have very little gas and no way to get any more. Has anybody else had this problem or does anybody know how to solve it.

pull the fuel flap lever in the car and hold it there. have someone else get their fingers into the gap of the flap and it should come open. i fixed mine by screwing with the screws on the flap door which moves the position of the latching mechanisms to make it pop open like it should.
