hey i just got a 1986 toyota supra non-turbo. I was wondering what kind on intake i should put on my car for the best performance and also what kind of exhuast. and its having trouble passing smog its dumping too much fuel into the motor anyone have any ideas what the problem can be sensors possibly thanks
too much fuel could be anything. i would say vacuum leak for a starting point. smoke tester will tell you right away where your vacuum leak is if you so have one.
High HCO's are caused by partially unburnt fuel, in short, you're running too rich. Leanning it up some would reduce those HCO emissions. Is the O2 new/good? etc.

oh yea its brand new but i also adjusted the tps and the mass air flow sensor a bit so now i think its running alot better. Also do you think the idle control valve could do anything to affect that

No, Idle Speed Control doesn't have anything to do with it.

Also yesterday i let my friend drive the car and when he drove it the exhuast would send out smoke is that because the exhuast is old because when it idles u can hear it rattle on the inside or is that another problem. I know it doesnt burn oil and it runs perfectly fine.
