Ben can answer this question better than I can, but you'll hit fuel cut at around 14psi, so you'd need a FCD (fuel cut defenser) at the very least to run more than that. The rest depends on tuning, the better tuned your motor is the more boost you can run without blowing anything.

If you raise the boost on a totally stock supra, 10 psi is about the highest you can run, and still be safe and reliable. this will give you roughly 260hp at the crank, up from the 232hp at the crank.

if you install an upgraded air filter, exhaust, d/p, and some form of boost control, you can run 12psi for ever without hitting FCD, or having engine parts implode on you. Estimate 290hp at the crank

installing an FCD will allow you to run 20psi with all stock components!, but it won't last long. Hp will be instantaeneous, and hard to measure due to the short life span of your engine. Think of this as the supra-nova mod level!

It's all a question of how fast and how long do you plan to run your supra? the graph is inversely proportional

When it comes to all things turbo charged always see what Ross has to say...

Read this page and the four links at the top of the page.

Good luck and let us know what you come up with

EDIT:
I have to add that I am not necessarily endorsing this product The reason I am going propane so that I can avoid having to buy a custom ECU. I am 1/2 way through and should be done mid summer (I'm slow)
I have met this guy and watched him race. (his cars never lost their class.) It is just damn good straight honest info too good not to pass along.
