my old brakes...

so i got to the front brakes today, they havent been on there That long. the passenger side pads are worn but nothing too bad. the caliper seal is totally shot though. the driver side pads though, the top of the outside pad is almost new. the bottom of the pad is worn to no thing. the inside pad is worn even Totally Gone.

im going to put new pads/rotors on, but should i do a caliper rebuild while im in there. or could the rotors just have been so warped/worn they caused the uneven pad wear.

... sure sounds like a possible caliper issue to me. I had similar issue on
a Celica GT-S, 1986 model. The caliper was not working correctly causing
very uneven wear.

I would definitely recommend rebuilding the calipers.
