door panel removal 87 supra

trying to get the panel off and there are 2 'nubs' close to the door
hinges ... they turn round and round but don't screw out.
do I just pull hard or pry them or what? I really don't want to
break it !

Those aren't nubs, they are plastic covers over the top of metal screws.

Just pry them off with a small flat head screw driver...they will pop right off. Don't worry they won't break off.
