3rd Generation EGR Time Delay Switch?

would an EGR time delay switch keep my car from running at all? i just did a swap and i guess it was broken through the install process, but now its turning over just fine but it wont start. i have spark, but whether its at the right time or not i havent had time to check, plenty of fuel delivery, air, i am checking the compression today, the engine has sat on a crate for a year i guess. i am going to check all the vacuum lines again to make sure they are all hooked up. i would think that it would idle but once i started to drive it it would probably run a little crappy.

EGR has nothing to do with ignition. Have you checked the CPS?

Cold Start Injectors aren't necessary. I don't have one.

You have other issues. The car has no knowledge of whether or not that CSI is firing or not.
