7mgte performance threads

We ahould put together some of the threads regarding 7mgte performance.. I searched the forum and didnt find much...

I JUST bought an '89 supra turbo. I'm not sure of the common mods most supra guys/gals do. Right now im doing an electric switchover to downpipe exit, and full exhaust. Hopefully that will bring out a lot of power.. but what else is there other than upping the boost..

And when you up the boost, do most of you use a manual boost controller or something a little more technological? thanks in advance for an help...

You hit the nail right there...increase the boost, free up the exhaust, when you're ready to cross factory fuel cut, you get into the big dollar mods club. Not surprisingly, the formula there is the same...more boost. Most people don't go much beyond this, so you don't find a lot here on it. You can achieve 350 hp easily with the information available on this site, and if you are working to cross it, ask specific questions and we'll help fill that knowledge gap.

Intake, Exhaust, Downpipe/Turbo Elbow, Boost Controller.

Then comes things like S-ACF's, Wideband's, EManage, VPC, etc...
