mkIV fuel pump in MKIII

I have a 1JZ motor (not that it matters, or maybe it does). Yesterday I drove all day, went to a bar, when I came out my car would only crank and not start even today I tried and its not starting I think its the fuel pump.. but anyways does the MKIV fuel pump fit right into the MKIII tank?? and does it ues the same wiring?? any help would be greatly appreciated..

You're welcome. I had a mk4 fuel pump for the longest time and the car definitely ran better.

In my car, how long do you think the longest time is?

That pump has about 7K Kms on it.
