Question 88 High oil pressure problem

My friend is looking at an 88 Supra.

The body is in mint condition.

it is a 7M-GE 5SPD.

119000 Miles.

but its oil pressure is at 100+ PSI and you can only drive it for about 100ft.

Does anyone have any Idea what might be causing this

Why can he only drive it 100ft? Was 100PSI confirmed with a manual gauge?

100 PSI confirmed with a manual gauge, he has only driven it about 100 ft because he does not want to damage, it. and He is selling it because He recently purchased a 1997 TT Supra

I'm not honestly sure, but... 100PSI is unheard of in a 7M. I wanna know how that failure occured. So would a few hundred on SupraForums.
