Purchased an MKII Supra

Hey everyone,

I used to own a 4th gen Celica GT-S. That car blew up and though I miss it, I feel that I have upgraded when I bought my MKII Supra. The banner on the top here says "Forum for most Toyota Supra generations. Including the MA70 and JZA80!" Is my MA61 excluded? But if there are any other MKII owners or people who know about them on this forum, I'd be glad to learn anything from you guys since I'm pretty much new to these cars. Here are some crappy pics of it.

Andrew

...I hope this was the appropriate place to post this...

Hood pins on a MkII. Interesting.

Really, the supra section of this forum is tiny and seemingly lacking in lots of useful information. Seeing that your MkII is even more rare than MKIII's or MKIV's, you might not find too much info around here.

That being said, Swap in a 7M :-D

Yeah...The previous owner did it. He wasn't the smartest guy around...He wanted to make it a race car. He figured all the fast cars had hood pins, so he just stabbed some holes and put those on. But don't worry, I'm getting a new hood. I was actually thinking about getting a 1JZ-GTE. But the cheaper price and easier swap of the 7M-GTE are tempting as well.
