3rd Generation relocating cruize controls

I was thinking of installing a Bride steering
wheel but I have no idea how to move
the cruize controls to the dash.
has anyone done this before?
I would rather not loose the option to cruize,
if at all possible ...

All you have to do is wire in some momentary switches and put them where you want them. Pick up some switches, splices, a wire diagram, rip open the steering column, and hook it up. If you aren't good with wires you will want to find a helper.

Having torn mine apart once, they use resistance too, not just momentary connections.

what would you suggest I get then? How much resistance
or what type of switch?

You'd have to measure it out, but I know that having had the wheel off before, there are resistors in there, not just momentary switches.

can I simply relocate the existing resistors then?
sorry I am not real knowledgeable about wiring.
sounds like this will be a major pain in the ass!?!

... or maybe not?

I dunno. If I get inspired I might look into it, I have my old steering wheel just laying around.

The other question is what year supra is it? The changed the way it worked in 89+.

can you tell from this picture what type of
resistors I will need to solder between the new
switches?

there are only 2 wires but 3 resistors, is one shared?

That's what I thought. It's actually a circuit, not simple momentary switches.

My guess (without seeing the PCB) is that those two wires are either normally open, or normally closed. Now, when you push a button, it throws that resistor inline, the ECU goes "Ok, is that.. uh... 2700k Ohms? Yep, Ok, Cancel Cruise Control. However, this is a guess, I can't see the traces to tell what it's really doing. For all I know there could be more or less going on (It could stack the resistors or who knows what).

Here's how you can tell which resistors you have:
