3rd Generation unorthadox but possible?

hey I was curious, not knowing a lot about how
the gearbox and stuff works ... well I was thinking
of adding some Lucas to my gearbox, would it be
insane to add it thru the opening where I removed
my gear shifter? it shifts a little harsh sometimes
and I've had good luck with Lucas before ...

Dumping oil into the tail housing will not solve shifting problems. If it has been awhile since the last oil change then some fresh oil might do some good. There is a good chance that the synchros are going out leading to difficult shifting.

That's the common method people add fluid to the tranny. No one even bothers with the 'fill' plug. However, I'm Definately not a fan of lucas stuff. I'd personally suggest draining the tranny completely and replacing it all with Redline MT-90. Many Many supra guys swear by it, as do I. It helped out my synchros and my shifting problems greatly within the first 6 weeks. Now, it's definately definately not cheap, but it's made of liquid Gold in my book.
