Any Toyota owners in NE Houston...

I just moved to NE Houston/Humble/Kingwood area and would like to meet others in this area for correspondence/discussion regarding MKIII Supras. I am also looking for recomendations for honest/reliable/fair Toyota mechanic in this area. I have a 1989 N/A MKIII. Currently running but showing signs of potential troubles ahead. Some smoking from tailpipe, occasional running a little hotter than I would like. Also have some other issues I would like to resolve - non-working cruise control, fog lights and other minor things. I'm willing, but not real able or experienced in DIY auto mechanics. Any help or recommendations greatly appreciated.

Well, first, I'd suggest you go to a real Supra forum, this place is a joke for a 'community'.

Mk3 & Mk4: http://www.supraforums.com/forum/index.php
or
Mk3 Only: http://www.supramania.com/forums/index.php

Try those.

Several of the other issues shouldn't be too hard to resolve though. Have you checked fuses?
