The knock sensor code is mostly generated by a faulty wire from the ecu to the sensor itself, usually in the vacinity of the head. the extreme heat in that area breaks down the wire over time. many guys have replaced the wire with regular coax cable tv wire, and that works fine.

it is a real pain in the ass to change, and sometimes people have done it twice because something didn't get done right.

the odd time it is the sensor itself.

the boost signal is best taken from the firweall where the stock turbo sensor is located. anywhere before the throttle plate and after the turbo are also good candidates.

hp[e that helps....

Make sure you check the connection on the sensor itself. It could very well be the sensor.
