im in the market for a new car. i want a supra...like an older one. single turbo most likely. uh..whats the prics range for there...like 1985-1990...what kinda motors do they have and whats the specs on em....the good and bad..where can i buy them other than ebay

1) Learn to use the Search Engine. People get tired of having to spoon feed everyone.

Mk3's were made from 1986.5 -> 1992. They came in Turbo and Non-Turbo. They were never twin-turbo in the states. They had a minor body style change/update in 1989. They came in 5speed and automatic. 232hp/240tq. 7M-GTE = Turbo, 7M-GE = N/A.

Good = Cheap.
Bad = Blow head gaskets, if it hasn't blown it, it will. Untill you machine the block, head and use a metal head gasket. Parts cost more because they're fewer and further between. They make less power than the 2JZ-G(T)E and are far less popular.

Where can you buy 'em? Try your local corner store, most keep a backstock of two or three.
