Obx Bov

My friend has an OBX bov on his WRX that he is replacing for some other bov...he said he would sell it to me for $50. I really enjoy the sound of it and the price is just right. But I have absolutely no experience in turbo vehicles. How does a bov hook up and would this one mount in my 88 Turbo? He has his mounted right to his TMIC, but I guess thats were WRX bov's are located??

yeah those are usually on ebay.. i gues if it works, it works. but put it like 4ft or so before the throttle body. Have it face the engine bay side for it to be louder.

You can't use it. Subaru BOV's are attached to the intercooler, like this:


Without making an adapter for that BOV to allow it to be piped into the system, you can't use it.
