7mgte

im looking to get a 7mgte swap but the ones i found dont have a trans.. so my question is can i use the trans from my n/a 7m?

yes you can use it. Depending on what your power goals are it may not last, but you certainly can use it.

For autos both the 7MGE and the 7MGTE used the A340, so no issues there. The 5 speeds were different. If you reuse the W58 from the NA I believe you will have clutch compatiblity issues. It can be done though. It can As long as you maintain stock power levels on the turbo motor the W58 should hold up.

what kind of clutch issues am i gonna have? if its gonna give me a headache i might as well find the rite trans.. dont wanna do the job twice.. yes im most like likely gonna leave the 7mgte stock.. just a front mount..

no clutch issue. Use the current w58 clutch and flywheel on the new engine. Mixing and matching flywheels will cause you problems.
