3rd Generation spoiler is leaking...

yeah. after a good cold night or rain, when I open my drunk it drains. I took off that plastic trim and found a puddle in there. I then took off my spoiler and found this:

yup. rust. So that seal is leaking. No big deal. But then I think this seal is leaking as well because the puddle is always under it..

The center post mount on the spoiler. Soon here i'm gonna just put epoxy around the seals to help seal it more. Has anyone else had a leak problem?

spoiler leaks are not unheard of. I wouldn't use epoxy though...you'll never get the spoiler off again if you have to. I believe you can still get those seals from the dealer, and they are fairly cheap. If you find them too expensive, look to RTV or silicone sealant. At least you can wax the paint in the area before applying the sealant so you get a waterproof seal, and can get it off if you need to.

I meant to say the RTV lol.

Yeah I might go down and see about a new one, but at the same time I wonder how long those would last? So I may just seal it like you mentioned.

It just kinda bugs me how it rains in the back of my Supra lol
