As reluctant as I am to post in one of these threads here I go. It is true that Toyota has been developing 2 door concepts, and that there has been talk of a new Supra, but all it is is talk. These concepts end up evolving into part of the Lexus line up. You usually see them as an IS or SC. Toyota is all about their new hybrid drive system, and they do want to show that it can be used in a sports car, so my guess is that you are looking at a new Lexus IS or SC. Since the Toyota and Lexus are one, Toyota name plate is mostly just being used for the daily commuter and truck line ups, and the sports car and luxury models are going under the Lexus name plate. It is kind of like they sort it by sticker price. Expensive things are under the Lexus badge, lower cost vehicles are Toyotas, and the dirt cheap college kids cars are Scions. Its kind of sad to say, but the days of the Celica, MR2 and Supra are gone. If for some reason something does emerge out of this called Supra don't expect a turbo charged motor to be under the hood. It will most likly be a hybrid, and you will have to become an EE to tune it. Oh yes, and as always don't hold your breath.

x2
Toyota is not a sports car company anymore, Lexus has taken over that, added a lot of technology, and transformed it. Enter the LS600h.

Its true that the "new" supra won't come comes back.
as in the the Top Gear magazine say:
Quote:
Once again for the americans, the was forwad is...backwards. ..... But for Japan, forwards if the way forward.
As TCMABOY correct, Toyota might call it another name an not keep Toyota FT-HS name. I worder what will it be.
Two sport car coming the Toyota/Lexus company. Awsome.
Lexus LF-A
Toyota FH-HS
Which one will hit the production line first?
Its going to be interesting for the SuperCar catagory witht the Lexus LF-A, Toyota FH-HS and Honda NSX re-entering again, won't it?
