Well, one would have to go though. Either way i'm driving a 1988 Toyota Supra turbo 5-speed.
I went to drop off my old dirtbike back to my ex's dad at his shop and I notice this 1988 Supra Targa sitting there. I remember that it was sitting there over a year ago! So I ask Chuck (my ex's dad) if his friend would consider selling it. He said maybe since his friend 1. Hasnt moved it in over a year, 2. Needs money 3. Chuck wants it gone.
My dad was there with me and since I live at his house right now I asked to see if I could get it (he complains about too many cars at my house haha). We look it over and the body is just about ready for paint. The interior though it trashed. HARDCORE.
I figure if I get it i'm gonna drop my whole interior into it (inc. the dash...that one is all messed up). The sweet part is it's a targa top. As much as I love my hardtop, I have always wanted a targa.
I pop the hood... 7mgte...and it's all there. Chuck said his friend drove it to the shop. If I do get it i'll be driving it back 30 miles to my house
I didnt snag any pics, although you know if I do get it i'll post a bunch of pics of my twin Supras in my driveway
Kind of reminds me of my 87 Supra Turbo.
Kind of miss him............
Well, got to continue my MKIV rebuild.
Congrats again!

Why would I want a RHD car in North America where we drive on the right? If I was in the UK, Japan or Australia then I would prefer a RHD car because they drive on the left.

Buddy of mine has a decently rare turbo, hardtop, 5-speed, silver Mk3. I was pondering buying it for quite some time.
are the hardtops rare? See i'll skip the pics for now but the reason I sorta want to get rid of mine is because I think the nose of the car is warped from a wreck it had in the past. The whole bumper is off to the side. Unless its just not lined up??
I havent seen a targa 5-speed turbo though. I've always seen auto turbo targas...
I own a turbo 5spd targa. Most people believe the hardtops to be more rare, but I don't think I've seen any actual production stats breaking down the options.
