Canada 88 Supra alternator fuse 100 A

88 Supra 7mgte
yep mine is blown and I need to know the best way to get it out!
Remove fuse block? (unbolt ) go from below
Can I get at it from on top? retaining clips?

Unfastened Fuse block, unclipped tray beneath said block, released section with 100A fusible link held by retaining clip (in slot directly beside 100A fuse), module slipped out bottom of fuse block, two philips screws holding fuse, done

you missed a step...purchase 2 fuses. After installing the first, find out what blew it and fix the problem. You shouldn't have anything that can draw 100 amps short of a large stereo, and that should be wired off the battery directly and fused seperately. None of the stock wiring was meant to handle 100 amps outside of the starter!

(the second fuse is in case you have to experiment to find the source of the problem).

thanks for the input. Fried it when I dropped a wrench across the batt. terminals while installing after winter. should have included that info on original post.
I wish I had a stereo big enough to worry about power supply issues
