Possibly a new Supra Owner...NEED HELP ASAP

Found a 83 Supra for $300, does not start, has new cap, rotor, wires. Owner says it needs a lamp relay or something? He says it's still not getting spark?

Is the lamp thing a easy fix?
If not that, what else is common/could be the cause for not starting?
If I can't get it running, how much could I part this car out for?

thanks in advance

No, sorry I wasn't clear. The car DOES NOT run. He replaced the cap/rotor, wires, but he said he thought it needed a relay or module (I thought he said lamp relay, idk for sure) in the ignition system.

He said it should run with this new part, he said $175 for it. Any Idea's?

Ok, he says it needs a "Charge Lamp Relay" and that is why it does not run

In a situation like this I would assume the worst and buy the car as a shell. Is it getting spark?

Will do, going to get it tomorrow evening.

It's a 5spd, 200K on body, 30K on drivetrain

$300 I can't go wrong

and it needs a new Ignitor I believe
