hi guys, i just got my 87 supra on the road. its a n/a supra. would it be ok to turbo the n/a motor? or should i just try to find a 7mgte motor?

Find a turbo motor. It's not worth the pain of turboing it.

I dont think they're too hard to come by. My friend needed one, called up a place and got it the next week. Now 2jz... thats a different story (and about 3x the price haha)

There's PLENTY of 7M-GTE's in NY Remember the harness, ECU, and igniter as well.


Or you could always sell the NA chassis and get yourself a turbo MKIII

Call Fernando at F & H Performance. 813-631-9500. He owns a Supra shop here in Tampa, FL now, but the shop was in New York for 14 years prior. He can tell you who to call or where to go! Just tell him Eli told you to call

i just got my hands on a 7mgte motor but its been sitting for a while. whats the chances that the motor is seized? the guy said said its been sitting for like 3 or 4 years
