Egr

with downpipe installed 3" cat back exhuast, would blocking egr off caused many issues?... how likly is detonation on this engine i have blocked it on my brothers 300zx TT and ran fine for 60,000 so far

blocking it should only increase nox emissions and cause you trouble if you have emissions testing. By doing it, you gain...nothing. Unless that is the unit is malfunctioning, and then you save having to replace it.

Detonation is a HUGE issue, it's what kills the head gaskets in the 7M.

was just wonderin cuz i gained alot on my tt 300, but i dont know much about the toyota blocks there new to me just tryin 2 learn them. my z runs so much cooler from it and same with the intake air sensors dropped alot in values (lap top helped me out lol)
