Ceramic brake pads

I just obtained a new front set of Brembo rotors for my 92 Mk III Supra, and organic pads along with them. What about ceramic pads? Are they worth returning the organic and paying another 20 bucks or so? I end up warping just about every set of rotors on every car i've owned. Even the super expensive Brembos I had on my former 98' Camaro SS, so I need good brakes.

Well, if they're stock sized, you'll probably warp these too. The supra is a heavy car with good for one hard stop brakes. Use em a second hard time and you'll get into fade. You can upgrade as you wish, and get slightly better performance, but there's still a short leash no matter what you install.

That said, if you could find ceramic pads, you would likely lose the initial bite until they heated up, and overheat the rotors in a hurry. Back to warping. Not much other than a big brake kit is going to take a great deal of abuse.
