1jz dash wiring question

I've done quite a bit of looking around but i cant seem to find a definitive answer.
What exactly is involved in making an ma70 turbo gauge cluster work with a jza70 ecu? I've heard people say it is easier to just swap over the jza70 tach because it uses a different signal. I've also heard that because of this some 1jz's seem to limit the rev sweep when a ma70 tach is used.

I need to find a supra dash to use for a custom cluster in my 1jz equipped 89 soarer.
I'm trying to figure out which supra model would be the best donor? On the basis of which one is the simplest to wire up. If any one could briefly explain that wiring process i would greatly appreciate it!!! I've heard something about switching over dash plugs on the body harness.

thanx.. that answers my question enough for me to decide which model dash i need.

I guess my next question would be.. What would be a fair price for a jdm ma70 gauge cluster in good, working condition? I do realize i dont need a jdm cluster but there happens to be one for sale locally. Plus its already in km/h
