new supra owner??

heres the story..my sister shot the rod out of her saturn and now needs a new car.. my parents traded their 05 corolla in for a 07 tacoma..and they have a 97 mercury mountaineer they are gonna sell. they said if they sold the truck i get the money to buy a car and my sister gets my 97 corolla.. so i was gonna get a 1987-1992 supra 7MGTE..... in about 2 years i am going to buy a 1996 2JZGTE supra..but buying the old possibly for now. but does anyone know anyone selling that year supra near Maryland? Thanks

Ok, the Blue Book on a '97 Mountaineer is:
Quote:
Excellent
$5,630

Good
$5,170

Fair
$4,570
So, a Mk4 is a gooood deal outta that price range.

As for Mk3 Supras, you can get a decently modded one for $5,000 but you never know if it's been done well or right. Most Mk3's in alright condition can be had for under $5,000.
