Supertoy ...
dont know if you guys are interested or not .. but I thought I would post up anyway , seeings as I use the fourm for info anyways ...
SUPERTOY 7M-GTE ~400HP full custom frame , with supra front IFS + rack .. rear Cradle = IRS , LSD

so .. finally after a couple of years .. some progress .
frame is under construction .. My shop is way to busy , so I had to bring in some help .
my buddy Saul offered up space and time ..
so finally almost a rolling chassis
next is the tranny crossmember and driveshaft hoop , then I can start on the cab mounts anf box mounts .
steering shaft and wheel is mocked up in the cab .. so now I can also start on the dash .

2 years waiting for me to get some time and space ..
NOT .. finally I said F* it , and gave the plans to my buddy to build ..
so now I will at least have a rolling chassis , and can move it in or out when I want .. I think this was the biggest hurtle .... well so far

I dropped off my mock up engine , and tranny . we dropped it onto the frame , so Saul could build the tranny cross member . after this is done , it comes back to me to finish ... yippie , I almost have a roller ..

actually ... plans have changed hugely .
now going with a full custom bed and front fenders .. and going to
MAKE/BUILD a hardtop convertable full roof replacement , out of fiberglass. ..

want to re-bushing the front and rear .. *energy suspension makes nothing for the 88 .. any ideas ? , other then Toyota.....

Many of the suspension bushings are available from Superpro and Dobinson from Australia. Do a search on raptorracing, who is a sponsoring vendor on this site (and a supra owner) as he puts orders in with them regularly, and he is in Canada so you save on the UPS charges. There was also a kit available from suprasport.com from a supra owner in the US that replaced every bushing. Even Toyota does not have all bushings as some of them are listed non servicable and only come with the whole suspension arm...

so the mock up has begun .. ;D
reinstalled the cradles .. front and rear , and the struts ..
some pics of the TIG welds ..
so anyway ..
I also dropped the cab on .. I still have to build all the mounts , but it'll give you an idea .
