Elk Deer VS Gen 3

How does a Gen 3 Supra hold up aginst a elk or deer?
I am still looking to supplement my 13mpg Land Cruiser with a car for my 140 mi/day commute.
About the only cars I like is the Supra, MR2 and 944.
Mr2 not safe enough for me.
944 = $$$$ and $$$$.
So that leaves me with the Gen 3 Supra.

I know from past posting that the Supra is a strong car in an accident but want to know how it would handle a large animal.

It's a strong car. Keep it at that. I'd also toss in the Toyota Cressida wich is the 4 door supra ofcourse Makes living with it everyday alot more easier. Supras get irritating later on climbing out of them and blind spots and stuff like that. But I love Supras anyway

as with most elk and deer collisions, the MKIII is a low slung sports car. Go fast enough, you take the legs out and they sail over the roof. Hit at normal speeds, take the legs out and have them come through the windscreen. If you're concerned with hitting objects in general, the occupants in a supra usually fare well. Deer and elk are a different thing, and if there is a strong chance of hitting them, I'd opt for something SUV or truck like with a good bumper bar...they're high enough you don't have the animal in your lap

I have a 94 Land Cruise that I drive to work every day. 140 mi round trip and 13 mpg.
I would drive the LC during winter when the elk are in season.
