Lean Air-Fuel mixture

I finally got around to installing my wideband O2 and the gauge, and even at as low as I can go with my boost controller (8psi), I'm running lean pretty much all the time. Even at idle I'm running a little lean. Granted, I am a bit unfamiliar with air-fuel ratios, but I have a general understanding.

What is an approximate dangerous air-fuel ratio? Anything over 14.7? I assume it has to be fairly high, like 15 or 16 to really worry about.

What are my options of increasing fuel to make up for my lean mixture? Are bigger injectors my only option?

As always, I truly appreciate the help you guys offer here, it's always been a pleasure dealing with you all,

Hank

Actually, I was wrong. I'm running under 15.5 all the time, and at boost (10ish) it stays below 11, so I think I'm set. I'd still like to verify around when detonation happens though.

Thanks again,

Hank

11.7:1 is what I TUNE for while in boost. Stock, the Mk3's run rich as pigs in boost. When you're in closed loop mode (below 68% throttle) it'll be all over the board but you can't tune or adjust the closed loop, so don't worry about it.
