New 16" Wheels

Wheels

Anyone see anything wrong with these? I want to get these and fit some 245s on the rear and 225s or 215s on the front. Is there any reason why I shouldn't? Anyone know of a better set of wheels for autocross (I'm looking to go with light wheels)? These are pretty reasonably priced, and I intended to keep 16" rims. I wouldn't go higher than 17".

These are going on my '87 MK III Supra Turbo.

My sawblades are pretty nasty looking, and they have some curb rash.

Looking forward to hearing from you all.

245 going to be too wide for them. You could do it for the streets, but it is not ideal for the track (too much sidewall movement side to side). Try to find a 16x8 to go 245. Some 255's may also fit that width but you'll have to check the tire maker's charts.

Hmm, ok. I didn't know that. I'll keep that in mind when I go back in to look at wheels. I also realized, I can probably keep the 225s in the front, they're not too terribly worn. So could I fit 225s comfortably on the front with 16x8 rims?
