Depends on GE to GTE swap. If your going to go the GE-T route wich is bolting a turbo to your GE, then its not all that hard.
If your talking about going 100% GTE components in a GE car, then thats another story. Going GTE in a GE vehicle involves having a whole complete engine harness and ECU along with everything out of a Supra turbo's engine bay that isn't available on the GE bay.
Example: The distributor coil will have to be replaced by a Coil Pack Igniter. Without this, the car will never ever start nomatter if everything is connected right.
I'm not 100% sure about the GE to GTE swaps in Supras, but I know in Cressidas, alot of cutting and splicing is needed to be done from the Engine harness to body loom. I think Supra is plug and play but don't take my word for it. I know both my Cressidas required it and having two 91 Cressidas and one had an 87-88 electronics and the other 90+, it was a bitch cuz copying off the other car wasn't possible.
Basic mechanics, there the same, but the turbo has alot of other differences vs the nonturbo. So be specific and you'll get your answers.
