Oh, what can I say. The supra is just an amazing car. We had to disassemble one of those Getrag trannies here in order to replace the shifter orings and the gears and shafts in that tranny were simply amazing. Some are even forged. The piece of steel must have been huge. One of the techs used to work on dump trucks and he was impressed. It is no wonder that they can send 1500 hp/1000 lbs/ft through these things. Simply turn down your boost and it is very much a daily driver too. This same Supra that we had here was owned by a gentleman that would race it at Watkins Glen, his Supra was the only car in his class that was driven too and from the track, all of the other cars were not street legal and would show up on trailers. He was the second fastest car in his group. AMAZING. I had a few occasions where I had to drive that car home (we had to put 20 miles on the car before the oil leak would appear). Those were the best days that I can remember working here. That car is actually fun to drive slow, just waiting for someone to "test" you.
The Skyline is more "exotic", but I don't like the looks nor the dependability.
