broken alarm?

Hey guys, its me again with a new question. My car alarm is very weird. I've only seen it activate once and I cant get it to activate again. I always assumed the guy who had it before me just messed up the wiring or sumthin...

Is there a special sequence that you gotta do to activate it?


btw, if anyone remembers my car problem from earlier, it seems that my car has fixed itself....(???) I think its the cold weather, but it doesnt mess up anymore, even when I turn it on while the engines hot...very weird, but I thought a few people might like to know.

The alarm isn't too sophisticated. It turns on when you lock the doors, and turns off when you open the door with a key.
