1987 Turbo Supra Upgrade Question/Headache thread

Hey this is my first post on here, but I've been a long time troll of this board. After going for a ride in my 180sx my dad has been bitten by the speed bug and we are in the process of getting his supra back up and running. After a long list of headaches, the engine is rebuilt and in the car and we went with the following parts to make it go faster.

HKS VPC & GCC - Problem here, we have a setup for a 1989+ supra, and our engine harness/ecu is an 1987
Apexi AVC-R (Most likely, depends if I ever get my haltech E8's closed loop boost control working in the 180sx)
Spearco FMIC - bolted right up, no problems here
Turbonetics CT26 stage 5 upgrade turbo - having a fun time making wasegate bracket
RC 550cc injectors & walbro 255lph fuel pump.

If anyone knows or has a 1987 vpc harness they would like to trade for an 1989 harness please let me know, it will save me a lot of effort, and I'd rather have a patch harness than to be forced to wire up my own.

Thanks for any and all input/criticism. I'm not too familiar with the 7m but look forward to learning it.

I made my own VPC harness. You need some resistors, and all of four wires. Wasn't too difficult.

Thats what we're going to end up doing. The hangup wasn't the difficulty of wiring it, my dad was just not wanting to cut the factory harness.

Yeah, it sucks, but if you can solder and shrink tube it's not too bad.
