NEW CAR.... But it has a problem

ok i got a 87.5 supra turbo and it starts and drives good... but it seems like it has a bad alternator cuz if i drive it too long it starts flashing the lights on the dash and then normally it will die after like 30seconds but i can jump start it and it will run for like 3 miles and then it will die again
