about 4K miles ago i had my HG changed. i had a stock one put on. and torqued down to 75ft/lb. i had a shop do it in my area. Well the other day karma caught upto me and my HG blew. now im effed. The shop warranties their work for 12k miles or one year whatever comes first and its only been 5 months and 4k miles. so i called em and they said tow it down here and well tear it apart.. my guess is there checking to make sure it a BHG for their warrantyl reason i guess. well i go to Wyotech automotive school and me and 3 ASE cert mechanics who are all experts said it was a BHG. so the shop is going to make a decision tomorrow or thursday on what they will do to it.
IF they decide its not covered by their warranty but yet it is still a BHG what would you do. me and my parents agreed if it came to that we would file a claim with BBB and take them to small claims court.
ANOTHER QUESTION...has any one cracked their 7M block before? if this were to be the cause( i pray to God its not) but if it is what would you do.
i think i would save my money and when im out of school get a job and rebuild it. i would build the internals up and prolly run stock turbo till i can get a bigger one and then upgrade.. but idk what i should do

I've never heard of a 7M block cracking.

Who came up with this 500px wide BS?
nope...the block is about as bullet proof as it gets...
Perhaps they forgot to clean the deck surfaces up properly, or tried to rely on the old fingernail test. Rare for a stocker to fail a second time with a clean and even slightly imperfect surface, but it depends on the original failure point...
shops are supposed to keep your old parts so if the customer wants them they can have em.. when i asked for it last time they said they threw it away. and thats why i wanted it was to see where it failed at. well hopefully they will redo it for free... is there any gasket i can use that will hold strong without buying metal and decking the block?
if its done right this time can the motor handle a full 3 inch turbo back exhaust and a 2.5" IC pipes and better intercooler? i would also be buying a brand new radiator seeing as how mine has a crack in it.
If you're going to run a stock head gasket, I wouldn't upgrade anything. My stocker on a 'cleaned' block and head didn't survive 10-11psi with ARP Studs.

well i got a call from the shop and he said its the worst BHG hes seen.. he said every cylinder blew and they all had burn marks or somethin on em.. he said hes sending the head out right now to see if its still good and hes gonna check the block over.
I say if you're going to do something, so it right. You blew it up completely, and it sounds like the mechanic knows a machine shop visit is in order. Get him to check the block surfaces to see that they will still seal with the replacement gasket.
back to this topic.. they fixed it and he showed me the HG.. it didnt blow between the coolant jackets in the block. it blew between the cylinders on the little bridges. i know alot of boost can cause this but i never ran more than like 7PSI
i have a quick question, cause i seen a supra 7mgte for sale and it has a blown head gasket, would it be bad to drive it, for let say for 1 hour but slow to the new house? cause towing can be a killer unless i can get my girl to do it for free.
Depends entirely on the severity of the "blow". I've seen ones that'll dump coolant and over heat in minutes, I've seen ones that'll burn coolant and look like you're driving a batmobile and leaving a smokescreen and I've seen others that just seem to lose coolant slowly.
I wouldn't make any guarantees on actually driving a BHG engine.
