power steering is foaming 87 supra

Just replaced power steering pump and rack unit on my 87 supra turbo, still no power steering , pump is foaming over, could this be the air valve and can this be bypassed

likely that it cant draw from the reservoir properly. Remove the reservoir, clean very thoroughly, or remove the screen altogether and try again. Might be the pump, but you'd hear some nasty noises. If you do hear a whine, still clean the can first and see what happens.

No problem.

Sorry to see you replaced everything before finding it was the screen. If anyone ever asks you the same question, get them to check that before doing anything else. It's almost always the screen clogging that will leave them with steering related issues.
