It really says next to nothing about the car. Doesn't list history for the chassis or the engine, doesn't list anything to say whether it's a deal or a money trap.

Who came up with this 500px wide BS?
I can do a full JDM turbo swap for ~$700. Preventative maint. doesn't mean much. You can't tell that car's history anymore than I can tell you where a Table's been in it's life.
So, my statement is still true. The engine is clean, but that's expensive for an older, N/A.

so if and when you sell your supra your only gonna sell it for $700 then. time included, O.E.M. parts, NEW tires, radiator and fuel tank repair..$700. CHEAP?? that car posted is actually my car, and I know the last two owners of the car.
^ so you're biased because you're pushing the sale of your own vehicle. give it up. that's expensive for an older N/A. no way in hell i'd pay that much for an '88 N/A. edit: especially an automatic!
and a JDM GE swap? i don't consider that preventative maintenance, as you have no idea as to the history of that motor, and WE have no idea how clean of a job you did installing it. (aside from the fact that 3/4 of the "clean swap" jobs i've seen are absolute hack jobs)
take that for what it's worth, which, in your opinion, probably won't be much.
knowing where this conversation will likely lead, I'm going to proactively end the discussion.
Without knowing a car, no one can speak as to it's condition outside of the obvious. If it looks clean, it looks clean...and that's about all anyone can take away from a picture. It could prove to be a wreck under the pretty stuff, and only a personal inspection will tell anyone that.
No offence is meant to any seller when I suggest that their word is not worth the paper it's written on, or the air needed to make the sounds. I'm a "prove it" type of person. If you get burned once or twice you'll start thinking it too and in the case of a car, an up close and personal showing is all that's going to make me think otherwise.
For a buyer, if in doubt about the true condition, have it inspected by a 3rd party at your expense. A mechanic may not tell you everything, but spending the $40-60 for an hour of their time may save you thousands and a lot of heartache. Honest sellers won't have a problem as long as they have a deposit/can ride along. Also read up on the car in general so you can point a mechanic at specific trouble areas...like headgaskets and such.
To sum it up: buyer always beware. The seller may be straight up, but might not. Get the proof, and compare it to others to determine a fair price to you for that exact one. It might be worth an elevated price, or it might not. At the end of the day, only you can say what it's worth. Sellers can take what they're offered, lower the price, or keep the car if they are reaching too far. If they are selling a gem, they can hold out for more offers, or do as they please.
Anyhow thread locked...before someone says something they may regret...
