Fuel issues!

So my car died the other day, and wont start, my aeromotive afpr gauge reads 0 psi for fuel. So I replaced the fuel pump and still no luck, the car cranks and cranks but no fuel is registrared in the fuel rail. I tried connecting the Fp to the B+ in the diagnostic box and nothing happened, when I connected the Fp to the battery the fuel pump relay resistor just buzzed. So I have no idea what to do next, I checked all the obvious fuses, the ign and egn in the kick panel, the ign and efi in the engine bay. None are blown. Any ideas please help!!
Thanks,
teedoff00

Sounds like you might want to start taking power straight to the fuel pump (make sure you unplug the pump wires first. If that works, trace back wires.

Well, I've got a couple thoughts:

1 - FP Relay and Resistor pack on the passenger side strut tower.
2 - Wires to the fuel pump
3 - two bad fuel pumps

I'd try swapping the relay and resistor pack, if that doesn't work. Unplug the fuel pump wires and just try jumping it (backfeeding power to the components is baddd) from the battery. If that works I'd start looking at wiring. If that doesn't work I'd look at a dead fuel pump, or a clogged line.

if all else fails, and you're planning to modify the car anyhow, a good thing to do would be the 12v fuel mod, as i outlined here: http://www.supramania.com/forums/sho...p+rewire+relay

or, you could temporarily bypass the resister/relay setup to rule those out in your quest for discovering the problem.
