starter cutswitch problem

I have an 86.5 and on an intermittent basis the car will not start. If you turn the key there is nothing, no activity to the starter, no solenoid clicking, nothing. I have had this problem for some time and at first I thought it was linked to the anti theft system, so I removed the anti theft computer, but the problem still exists. I have also noticed that the power to my radio cuts out and all my presets disappear. I think it has something to do with the cutout switch, but my dealer says the car does not have on. If anyone can shed some light on this problem I would greatly appreciate it.

The car does not have an ignition disable EXCEPT for the factory anti-theft features.
