Lightbulb thinking of getting a supra

I'm thinking of trading my eclipse spyder for a 91 supra turbo.

My question is what is the modifying potential of this car? Specifically, how much hp can it handle with just addon's, no upgrading of the engine internals or tranny? Also, how's the aftermarket support?

I'm looking for a car to play with and kick some domestc tail without having take it apart first.

Thanks

you won't be dissapointed.
the car is heavy and old, but you can get gobs of power out of it.
do some seaches on www.supraforums.com and you'll come up with enough reading to last you the week.
have fun.
just a rough idea of limits... 400+rwhp on stock internals, if your headgasket doesn't blow (which it will :P)

i have seen many guys make 350rwhp easily on stock internals. at that power level, something will break eventually though.

300rwhp is bulletproof if done right.

speed costs money right.
i know guys with 5, 6 and 700 rwhp, but they only drive their supras a month before they are back in the shop again.
