Computer Chip

Any one have any links for something like a aem computer chip, if they even make them for a 89 auto supra (nonturbo) :[ thanks

They don't make one. The EEPROM's in the 7M ECU's are not flashable. So, in order to even make something similar work, they have to install a whole daughter card and things start getting expensive.

God that thing was expensive. I wish I had the knowledge he does though. Oh how I'd love to dig through the factory ECU.

If you dig around on ebay jp or ebay au you can find used ECUs that have been reprogrammed by various tuning houses. The thing of it is that nobody really made parts for the NA. It is kind of a waste. If you are looking for more power an engine swap is the way to go.

I've actually held in my hand a MINE's 7M ECU and my buddy ran it for a while, and that's exactly the problem we ran into; We didn't know what the tune was.

I managed to find an old PFC-FCON and GCC for mine. You can get support for them through an HKS dealer.

Hahahahah, that's awesome. They're using the resistance off two legs of an EEPROM and telling people it's something fancy. I mean, seriously. The wires aren't even soldered and it's not even in a eeprom base. That is the most amazing scam EVER!
